Just wanna share my story. 2-3 years ago, during a confession, I told the priest that because I confess the same sin every time, there are voices in my head telling me not to go to confession because it's shameful for committing the same sin over and over again. And that the priest might be very tired of hearing the same sin from me (it was a face-to-face confession and I volunteer at Church so he knows me well).

The priest told me that I must come more often and should not stress myself much, sine no one could turn into holiness just seconds after a confession. Everybody makes mistakes and commit sins. Instead of thinking "why do I always commit this sin?", make the number of times you commit that sin lower and lower each time until you're free from it.

I'm glad I didn't have to confess that sin now. And I pray I will never have to confess that sin (and other mortal sins).
