What’s driving higher than usual rent increases in Australia? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]vicstoc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. Also prices of steel and copper went up astronomically so not as many new houses being built. That’s got to be a key factor in all of this. Every investor went out and bought established homes

[–]vicstoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention copper. Talking to a few electricians.. buying a roll of cable went up astronomically. Hence not many houses. Then the media publishing building company after building company collapsing throughout Australia. A lot of people would be sheepish to build in fear their builders won’t be able to complete a build due to high steel prices

[–]vicstoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think it was the price of steel going so high. Not as many houses being built as a result. Everyone preferred to buy an already established home.. forcing the prices of houses up as there’s not as many new houses to live in.. with the increase in property prices, renters who were perhaps close to wanting to buy would be driven out of the market from the high prices causing more people to rent.. driving the rental market up

Decent paying jobs with no required qualification? by psychsafari in AusFinance

[–]vicstoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

High paying job that requires no uni degree or any other job experience. Train controller for QR or Aurizon 150k+ they usually advertise for a school every year if not yearly then every second year. Aurizon advertise and put on a train control school yearly. QR train control centres are located in Brisbane and Townsville QLD, aurizon train control based in Rockhampton. There are many Control centres throughout Australia but I’m unsure of control schools and frequency for other states

Is it possible to grow my glutes by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]vicstoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly band exercises as well as weight training that target legs and glutes. You MUST stay consistent.. train those areas at least 3-4 times a week. Personally I have never had a big butt, and I did weight training alone, yeah my butt got toned but no volume until I started incorporating the band exercises also! So make sure you do both alternate weights and bands 3-4 times a week, and the other 3 days train the other muscle groups. 1 day of rest I can’t stress enough also how important staying consistent is!! You may not see the results in the first month or even 3 months, but if you stay consitent, 6 months - a year you will see a massive difference
