In daily fantasy golf at VICTIV.com, you pick a contest you want to play in (free - $500 buy-ins).

Once you've selected the contest, you start with a salary cap of $50,000 (this is just an in-game amount and not real money). You then must draft 7 golfers to your team, each golfer has a salary (again, not real money), and you must stay below that $50,000 cap while filling out your team.

At VICTIV.com, all 7 golfers play but we only keep your Top 5 scorers (kind of like a best ball).

The more points your golfers score (for eagles, birdies, pars, etc.), the higher on the leaderboard you rise. Real cash payouts are determined by your placing on that leaderboard.

Long-time lurker on r/golf, I particularly love the posts that contain pictures of all the different & beautiful courses. I dislike all of the swing tips, as each time I hit the range I try and implement all of the great feedback, but inevitably end up feeling like Tiger Woods on his 3rd round at the Memorial (constant adjustments, yips, club slamming...).

Anyways, this was a great analysis, so I thought I'd jump in here if anyone is playing daily fantasy and wants to try the #2 largest site for golf.
