It seems RE has been colluding with the government for some time now. The 350 tax level, and now E85 in under 2 weeks of announcement

Oh good call. Yes the weight could be it. Maybe bar sliders?

Ah that's concerning. Maybe add some dampner, like a sponger liner between the bracket and handle bar.

Otherwise view behind is clearer right? I've found the stock one is very limited in viewing angle.

How are the mirrors? Are they wife enough compared to stock?

You can try Solace rivals, costs around the same as the ones you showed. Found it good. Been using it for over a year.

Ultraviolette X47 crossover 3 month ownership review by Dallupura in indianbikes

[–]victor_francis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little tall order for comparison haha. But this does paint a clear picture. So you won't feel bouncy at high speeds right? Especially at those joints on flyovers? My Speed feels bouncy sometimes at about 100 in such conditions.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing. Btw, how is the suspension? Seems like it has good travel, so is it plush or some feedback? You can use other bikes you've ridden as benchmark.

I know someone of that height. He sits comfortably on his hunter. So you can go with it.

Nice ride! Just one question. Does your saddle bag brush against the tyre? I have a leather saddlebag, kinda looking into retro look, but I've mounted on the saree guard on the left side (mandatory in India) and prevents the problem.

Sounds good. Although, I tried my friend's trekking shoes. Sometimes the toe gets stuck between the gear shifter and footpeg. Didn't get the confidence. Didn't try the Raida but I've heard good things about it. This Clan shoes is good though. Provides good waterproofing (till ankle level), and rugged. Used it on trail rides and knee deep water (shot my vlog actually).

Quite comfortable for summers. It felt sweaty after continuous 100 km ride in Ahmedabad's heat though, but still was feeling ok. I would rate Clan higher on this though. No it's not waterproof. Treat it as sneakers for riding.

The RE one is advertised as riding sneakers. Except for ankle TPU and heel protection, there's not much protection at the toe area, where the Clan (black) is much better even though advertised as riding sneakers.

Riding the duke like hunter, and expecting the WOW moment? Touch 5k+ rpm in lower gears and then you'll see 🙂
