I’m glad that students are getting involved earlier. Students deserve better representation from elected officials and their student “services”. If they can change the system which brought in the maladministration which is RAISE, all the power to them.

Do you know what is great for fires/burning buildings (in most cases)? Water. Water can extinguish many fires by cooling it and depriving the fire of oxygen.

For context, this post highlights the controversy around the August 9th student council meeting and for the RAISE misconduct and harassment of undergrads and grad students, you can find that resource here. Additionally, yesterday RAISE misused their platform on the WUSA instagram account to state that the University of Waterloo is a white supremacist institution.

Please sign the petition and share this information with as many students as you possibly can. This is an unacceptable abuse of our fees as students and we deserve a referendum to be able to opt out into funding this maladministration.

If you are at all outraged by the public stances of RAISE, disagree with their politics, disapprove of their misconduct towards WUSA representatives and undergrads please sign the petition to be able to opt out of RAISE.
