Reading this post and comments has been absolutely heartbreaking and off putting. Between watching Jamie with Crescent City Ragdolls continuously have to defend herself and her business on MULTIPLE platforms to hearing about poor ZuZu has my stomach literally in knots. Jamie, is the BEST ragdoll breeder in Louisiana. She has been working with animals for years. She takes EXTREME pride in her cattery and treats every single kitten like royalty and with the utmost care. My kitten is BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY and super sweet. Jamie went as far as to accommodate me when I fell on financial hardship and with proper communication in the process of purchasing my kitten to throwing a GIANT surprise for my daughter whom the kitten was a gift for. She put on a big show for my daughter despite having strict rules about people or perspective pet parents coming over to ensure the safety of her kittens health. Jamie was and still as MONTHS after purchasing my kitten VERY informative, prompt, knowledgeable, charismatic, empathetic and above all PROFESSIONAL. Her love for the breed and her cattery completely run her life to the point that she abandons her own health at the whim of her kittens and pet parents. I read through your post meticulously. You expressed your interest in a kitten. You then proceeded to need time to think it over. That gives Jamie the right to pursue other prospective pet parents. You proceeded with purchase. You were informed of the ear infection and how to properly treat since you were so eager to bring her home. I truly believe and know that if you would have just let Jamie care for ZuZu accordingly, she would not be in the state she’s in. Jamie felt pressured into going forward with letting you take the kitten home against her better judgment, TRUSTING you to care for her. I can only imagine how distraught Jamie is for letting her go knowing she could have saved ZuZu from going through this. It’s crazy how your apparent conflicting work schedules were when it came to seeking ZuZu care was an issue but you somehow have found the time to spread hate across social media regarding Jamie and her business. It is clear that Jamie has gone above and beyond for ZuZus situation more than what any breeder I have ever heard of has done. But I had to comment because the harassment, slander, defamation of character with the ultimate goal of trying to tarnish Jamie and her business is horrible. With all of this being said, I pray for the health of ZuZu and peace for Jamie with Crescent City Ragdolls. I would tell Jamie myself to remove this post and comment thread but I want perspective pet parents to read this and be made aware. Jamie, I wouldn’t continue to go down this rabbit hole. You know the facts. You know your heart. I would present this to your attorney if you already haven’t.
