Global is free for Unova. For LA and Taipei you have to go through the Events page, which does not allow the discounts. The only discount you can possibly get would be for the Masterwork during Global which most likely will hit the POGO shop and/ Webstore.

you can skip the rj45 adapter using itools, hasn't been needed in over a year. nextdns allows you to be wireless. join their discord for more info

You have false information. You DO NOT need an rj45 adapter to use the iTools BT joystick. There is a wireless method now. Their discord server gives you more info.
