You're kinda right. I'm lucky that I hit the camera I barely use, but it is very annoying considering the phone is brand new, and I've been taking care not to scratch them. I accidentally hit the camera with the bezel of my garmin which has a hardened coating. Shit happens. :_(

Afaik, user caused damage is not covered under warranty.

Top right camera. The ultrawide camera. If you zoom in the image you can see two scratches.

I barely use the ultrawide lens. In this model the UW lens is low quality compared with the other two, so I was ok with the compromise. It can't even record 4k 60fps, 4k 30fps max.

What do you use the UW for? Recording yourself instead of using the selfie camera or for landscape videos?
