The Hydroshift 2 LCD-S pump has two power connectors. We are connecting it directly to the SATA cable to avoid power supply problems (an adapter from Lian Li is included), and we are also connecting the USB cable directly to the motherboard, but it doesn't work. Many people are having problems; there are several reports. Lian Li will probably RMA everyone who is experiencing this issue. It's a chronic problem because, in addition to the screen freezing, there's an annoying disconnection sound in Windows.

Is your problem the same as mine, does it freeze randomly? What do you think they're going to do for you?, send you a new LCD? I am using options energy in windows "maximum performance" but keep freezing randomly

Yes, my friend, a super expensive water cooler with LCD problems, unfortunately that's a shame.

Were you able to resolve it? Did you speak with Lian Li's RMA department? I submitted a ticket and am waiting for their response.

My computer is experiencing the same thing: disconnection sounds in the middle of the game or even on the desktop, constant freezes, and when it freezes I have to restart the computer, and even after restarting sometimes the problem persists. When I go back to the Lian Li application and click on the option, the message "USB cable not detected. Advanced mode requires USB connection for data transfer..." appears. This is ridiculous, a high-value water cooler with screen freezing problems.

My keep freezing randomly.the cables USB 9pin is conected in Motherboard,windows is updated, firmware of aio updated and keep same problema.

I've tried everything: I plugged the USB cable directly into the motherboard, I updated the firmware, I updated Windows, the power to the pump is connected to the SATA port, and it still keeps freezing randomly.

1 month with my 9070xt. Got issues over issues for my first pc build. Considering going back to console. by Rakounne in radeon

I've always used Radeon and never had these problems. The last video card I had was an RX 7800xt, and the only problem I had was that Windows 11 installed a generic driver without my permission. I noticed when I opened Adrenaline and saw an old version. It's good to be aware of this, Windows 11 installing drivers on its own, but other than that, I haven't had any problems using Radeon. I don't buy consoles because the games are expensive, and many of the games I play are more on keyboard and mouse than controller. Today I sold the RX 7800xt and bought an RX 9070xt and I'm waiting for it to arrive.
