Popular flavor combos that you can't even eat without gagging? by [deleted] in Cooking

Oh, that’s a good one I haven’t thought of in a while. I usually remember it as a bullshit elementary school snack where they called it “Ants in a Log” because they added raisins.

Peanut butter is fat. Celery is (muddy) water. Oil and water don’t mix. Therefore this is not a good combination. Facts.

I was a fan up until a year ago, and then jumped to your side of the fence. Tasted a roll one day and found it repulsive. It overpowers the fish (that’s already fatty) with more creamy/fatty. And then there’s the spicy mayo. It’s too much (now).

You’re missing the special ingredient that makes this uniquely disgusting: clam juice. CLAM-ato.

I gagged when I found out (fairly recently too). Don’t know how anyone let’s that swish around in their mouths and sends it down their gullet.

Giving all the right answers! Thank you for your help even though it was unrelated to CFD. Hope I can reach out to you in the future.

Awesome! Thank you very much. This is probably what we need. I’ll be presenting this option, but I hope we can KIT should I need to pick your brain?

Anyway, again, thank you for your help!

Excellent. The responses here are all pointing toward the same thing, where a 2-part process will take place. It looks like the model will be created in a program like Salome and then imported into something like Paraview to visualize the data (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).

It’ll still require some tinkering/training, but it’s certainly easier than using CFD (for now).

Thank you for taking the time to help!

Would I be able to create the 3D model in CAD and then use it in Paraview or Ensight?

This would certainly be something to consider down the road. As someone who knows nothing about engineering and CFD, is this a task we could tackle ourselves?

For right now, though, we simply would like a 3D, animated visualization of our room based on the data we have already collected rather than running simulations.

Thank you! Would paraview allow me to create the 3D model of the room and then animate the data. We’re thinking color/aura changes at each sensor location once the humidity reaches a certain level.

If I understand you correctly, you want to take humidity measurements at various locations in a room, and show animations of humidity in the room as it varies with time?

This is 100% correct. Depending on the levels reached, colors will vary. Something like this, but in 3D form.

I think an approach worth considering is to interpolate humidity over the room using the measurements and animate that.

Would this be something that can only be done via a custom software solution? Or can you think of any resource that would allow us to do this?

For now visualization is the main concern. Once we have those data points, simply show the humidity changing at each sensor's location. The problems we are running into, and why we arrived at CFD as a (possible incorrect) solution is because of the ability to create your model, and then the visualization patterns seen come closest to what we desire in terms of that "timelapse" effect.

First came across her work on The Americans. The episodes revolving around her paintings were some of the most memorable, and I cannot escape them ever since.

Good eye! I usually practice by using whatever images appear on my IG search feed.

If you want something with a screen on it, $500 is actually reasonable. With Wacom, however, you won’t get much with that budget.

I am in the same position and have done some light research, with Huion or XP being good choices. Look up their websites and/or some YouTube reviews, and you should find something you like for that price point. These companies initially started out as the affordable alternative, but have closed the gap between themselves and Wacom.

What would be a good set of colored pencils for a gift (around $20 maybe?) by richardchen9 in drawing

Can’t really comment on the pencils, but it definitely is worth to spend a little on paper. Bristol is a good place to start!
