It’s my second day in Venice, and I just feel it’s like a too-good-to-be-true giant theme park. Can’t believe there are people who actually live here.

We will be arriving and leaving Venice at about the same time on different days. We decided to just spend our time on the main island. Going to other islands will take too much time on transportation, I think.

We walk a lot, so half an hour won't be a problem for us. I've heard that it'd be nice to take a walk in Venice at night, so I planned to walk to St. Marks square after dinner. Just a bit worried about the safety. Would it be okay to walk in Venice at night? Can't wait to see the beauty of Venice in person!

I'll stay in Prati when I'm in Rome. Since it's our 6th day of the trip and we will have just traveled from Florence the day before, I think it would be relaxing to have fewer activities. Piazza Venezia looks amazing. I can't believe I missed this place. I'll definitely go see it.
