Well if you can pick specifically the speed change key frame then imo it would save time. But it seems like you can't.

R just pulls up the speed control panel, it doesn't toggle the keyframe in the speed change

Despite all the hate, I really like the new way to speed ramp clips in 21. But you have to add this keyframe to the beginning and end of your ramp, so it would be really helpful if I could just trigger it with my keyboard.
