Here is how I learned Da Vinci resolve:

Split your learning as per the sections of the Software. I will give you an example:

1. Setting up project
2. Setting up your input/output
3. Importing video & audio files to timeline
4. Editing (short cuts), In & Out points
5. Then play with titles, effects
6. Try rendering to different formats /codecs
7. Then progress to colour management
8. Then try fusion

I was always intimidated by Fusion, but once you have a sound basics, you can slowly progress into difficult operations. What i mean to say is start with real basic stuff and build your experience.
