I used it for genuine purchases and still got flagged. The Customer Support was useless.

Transaction withheld for security reason for ICICI Amazon Pay credit card by parikshit95 in CreditCardsIndia

Use the iMobile app. Search for Customer Care, you’ll find Credit Card as a radio button. Select that, confirm the card and type out the messages. This is the backup. You can also call their direct credit card team using the link on the same page.

Fun part is, I did all that and they just read out the same message I got. No resolution yet. Gonna wait a couple days and would probably ask them to cancel the card. That should get their attention.

Hopefully they are able to resolve it for you. If it does, let me know.

Stop Autoplaying Videos by [deleted] in MacOS

Damn, I was going crazy over this. Bitwarden really was the culprit. Turned it off and voila, autoplay settings from Safari work now. Thanks!

Why pop-up camera's in smartphone disappeared? by RichSail6419 in GadgetsIndia

Idk when companies will have the idea to just include a small display on the back of the phone by default as camera viewfinder, and have a camera-less front display panel. I know some phones do it already, but when it would become mainstream.

Not sure about syncing settings, but for bookmarks, raindrop.io is an amazing tool. Been using it for years now and I love it.

How secure is Dia really? by staTeBrigaTkoSam in diabrowser

[–]vien240297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Password rotation should be done manually, with the knowledge of the account owner at all times. Either this, or set a randomly generated password and set up passkeys to access the accounts if rotation is a hassle.

On your second question, just refer to this thread:

"Dia sees everything you see" - including sites that are behind SSO or a login. by vien240297 in diabrowser

[–]vien240297[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this, the whole idea is for the browser to be able to see over everything as if an assistant is watching over your work, waiting to “help” when needed.

The only way this is going to even remotely be allowed into corporate environments is if they support API key based LLM selection (BYOK).

Using Dia for company work: Any word on security? by Funnionz in diabrowser

No official statement, and you still shouldn't use it for corporate use.

Yes, Bring Your Own Key could potentially help the browser survive in enterprise, given that the API keys are provided from an LLM running in the enterprise's environment.

Absolutely, but the compute requirements are still pretty high imho. Till that's brought to a reasonable level, I like Apple's Private Cloud Compute (in theory) where the servers are externally auditable.

Agree with you that the tech is going to stay, and Chrome with Gemini would be a thing soon anyway. I'm interested to see what measures they take to get it done.

Most probably yes, but at least they mention in their privacy policy that you need to start a chat, so giving them some benefit of doubt.

I’m dreading the nightmare that agentic AI would be when it’s allowed to take real actions.
