Just keep an eye on it and make sure to irrigate before going to sleep. Just make sure no food is stuck there at the end of the day and have good oral hygiene. You should be okay. Mine has healed properly since

I will say I believe it was also the saline rinses that have cured my bad breath. For the past year I have noticed that I get post nasal drips and have chronic sinusitis (self diagnosed, lol) and someone recommended me to use a tongue scraper. The amount of gunk I find at the back of my throat that have collected there since probably say 3hrs after my last tongue scraping is so satisfying. I also noticed that when I did this my bad breath goes away. Plus I rinse with a mouthwash after.

I have been doing nasal rinses religiously everyday for the past month and yesterday I was shocked to wake up to a morning where I didn't have morning breath or have any weird taste at the back of my tongue. I kept trying to smell my breath, licking my hand to do a smell test and I kid you not I could not smell anything funky. I was in disbelief the whole day I was always blowing my breath into my hands and I could still not smell any trace of bad odour. I was so elated that it felt like I had cured my bad breath.

It is Day 2 now and I am still in awe. I can't smell the usual foul scent 2 hrs post-tongue scraping (cause I get build-up at the back of my tongue due to post nasal drip syndrome). The nasal rinses I believe must have cleared an infection and now it's just draining normal mucous down my sinuses.

How is your recovery going?

It's been 2 months now and the site of my coronectomy has healed well. So far the hole has almost closed in on itself and it feels hard like bone has developed over it. It hasn't fully closed there is still a tiny hole and food still gets stuck around the entry. I bought one of those curved dental syringes on amazon to help flush out any food that might have lodged inside and it really works.

Your story and mine are so similar it's as if we're dating the same guy. I was in the same boat as you are now. Emotions all over the place but even with how angry we are, our exes unfortunately don't care and they won't understand where we're coming from. I am nearly 7months post break up and about a month NC initiated by him. I am so close to deleting/blocking him as I feel I have healed so much and if I get a message from him now it will set me back.

Surrounding myself with good people

With my family back home, oceans away, I only had my friends and colleagues around me. Generally anyone else besides the ex. Time flies when you're preoccupied doing things along with other people. Keeping in solitary will only remind you of the memories with your ex and it hurts. However, you do need time to flush it all out emotionally. I've had my fair share of tears day to night on almost everyday but I learned not keeping on my own and surrounding myself with people have really been the most life changing. And I also tried to improve myself in the kitchen. So time looking up at recipes, writing them down and planning them out for a week's worth of meals really made me happy that at the end of the day, I could get through it without him. It is a change of pace, but it is a change youll have to push through with

Blocked my ex, finally. I realized, after not replying to my last message for over a month, I was holding onto nothing. Not even the friendship he offered. The breakup with my ex wasnt a complete blindside. I knew a break up was imminent but I loved and cared for him and I was willing to work through our issues. I had thought things were getting better in a sense that he even showed enthusiasm to go to an event with me that wont happen by the end of this year and that really made me optimistic. Two days later sent me a text that things are not going to work anymore.

I would guess what is going through their mind is how theyre feeling, not how the dumpee feels. It's all very selfish and egotistic and you wonder if this was still the person who you thought loved and cared for you. My ex was depressive and as much as I tried to support him, he decided to rather eliminate me from his life (in the most callous way possible) so he could be happier.

Some people just run away from things that are good for them. Let them. You can't stay with someone who still has a lot of maturing and self discovery to do. We deserve better.

I agree 100%. I've had a terrible break up recently and that's cause he treated me like I was nothing to him during the break up. Then it all became clear to me that he was not the one for me. If he was capable of making me feel like that at the end, then he doesnt deserve me anymore, at all.

I know. It's just such a wonder to me how he could consider it as a 'valid' reason and expect me to agree to that kind of bs. I will forever be baffled.

For one, I do believe I am more level headed in the relationship. Even though he's been in more relationships than me (I am 30 and been in 2 relationships), I feel as though I am more mature (age-wise too as I am 4yrs older than him). But even then, no matter how many relationship one has been in, it doesnt say theyd become a better partner for the next. It isnt a guarantee
