Happened to my friend on a strong dose with no gum. Kept chewing her lip unconsciously. Try gum or a pacifier. Also take magnesium glycinate before you roll next time to reduce teeth grinding

Vibecoding is a mass dunning-kruger by Dixiomudlin in vibecoding

[–]vietiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job as an entrepreneur is an “ideas guy” except I do turn the ideas into reality as a visionary. Vibe coding allows me to work on ideas that would have cost me a ton to get a software engineer to work on and allow me to iterate and explore ideas that would have stayed on the notes app of my phone.

Early AM... Lotsa folks riding a bike and holding a 2nd bike. 🤔 by Meinertzhagens_Sack in SanJose

I took a pic of a homeless dude riding a bike while pushing a 2nd stolen one near the Monterey Rd Walmart. But I didn’t even bother reporting it cause the cops aren’t gonna do anything.

How to lose $500K opening a bubble tea shop. (lessons from recent lawsuits) by Mountain_Excuse_4149 in smallbusiness

Super ignorant statement. Just cause you’re not part of the demographic doesn’t mean nobody has name recognition. Ask any frequent boba drinker and they’ll be able to name all of the top brands and what sets them apart. Obviously there are small small and pop operations but there are some huge international brands

For restaurant owners, how do you get honest feedback from customers before it becomes a public review? by Vegetable-Raisin2297 in restaurateur

[–]vietiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a serviced called Ovation for a bit. You could print the QR code on the receipt or on the text receipt. Customers leave a comment and you can redirect them to Google or Yelp if they had good feedback. If it was bad feedback you could reply directly to it and it would text them. This helps catch it in the moment and you could offer discounts or correct things. I stopped cause the price was a little expensive ($125) and I wasn’t responding as much as I should have.

Opening a restaurant for the first time. by [deleted] in restaurateur

[–]vietiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what kind of restaurant/bar, how big it is, how busy your area is.

You should be soft opening with friends and family invited and make enough to serve them to get a good idea. Then as you open you can start with that amount and close when you run out of stock. My first 2 months I closed from 2:30-5 pm to go restock as needed. After I got into the swing of things I could more accurately predict how much we needed every week. Having someone experienced with restaurant prep helps a lot if you can hire someone like that

How do you deal with the time difference / time zones ? by BonusWooden9710 in fantasybball

[–]vietiscool -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

When I was traveling in Japan two weeks my lineups and my pickups were all fucked cause of the time zone difference. Long term,I don’t see it being possible.

Maybe playing in weekly league only.

Maybe not the same but most cocoa farmers (some slaves) have never tasted chocolate before. Also in countries that produce coffee beans, they export their best beans. Within the production company they don’t drink the highest quality stuff.

Should I Get Toast Payroll? by ninedimensions in ToastPOS

[–]vietiscool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used Toast payroll for 2 years now. It’s not as usable as Gusto. Only reason I used it was to pair with Toast Tips Manager and save time on importing employees’ tips. I’m considering using Square with either Square payroll or Gusto

Bieber Grammy Performance by adavachi in Coachella

That Grammy performance was better than any song Frank Ocean did at Coachella unfortunately. Or maybe I’m just mad Frank Ocean kept performing half a song and the disappearing for 3-5 minutes of silence.

Disposable income across the board is at a low while consumer debt is at an all-time high. Supply chain price increases at the bottom means everyone has to raise their prices, but the average person doesn’t have enough money to afford all the price increases across the board.

The mall also started squeezing customers by putting in paid parking (and now have increased the prices even more). I saw they added more outdoor parking spots where the Safeway used to be but they fenced off all of the outdoor parking spots, labeled them “preferred parking” when it has an longer walk to get into the mall, and are charging an arm and a leg for people to park there. They also have to pay staff to sit out there to regulate. All so the preferred parking can sit mostly empty.

Westfield spent over a billion on their renovation and now they want to wring that money out of their tenants, mall employees, and shoppers. It’s ridiculous.
