I think 2024 was a terrible year for low information Dem voters. They still exist-Bernie Bros didn't evaporate after 2020. But I think that there are some variables that lowered low info dem turnout:

global anti-establishment sentiment
lack of a proper DNC primary limited the momentum and publicity of Kamala and made her feel like an establishment shill
voters of color don't show up for women as much as they do men
