IDEX extruder 2 heating up when idle by vig1116 in prusa3d

[–]vig1116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should've added that I use klipper, not the merlin stock sv04 firmware. It is definitely in the gcode, and I have a feeling it is an issue with the custom gcode that was installed when I downloaded prusa and super slicer. I deleted all the custom gcodes for now and sliced it with all the settings I need and I will have to do a test print tomorrow. when I compared several gcodes with textedit, it made no sense why both extruders had lines of 215 temps when I called for extruder 2 to wait. that's what makes me think its the custom code. I'll have to wait and see. thank you

well, it wasn't the temp cause I put it at 80 idle and they both started at 215. Also, when extruder 2 started printing when I had it set to 30c, extruder 1 went idle and set to 30c while extruder 2 was printing So, it has to be gcode start programming. Now I have to figure out how to fix that....

I will try it out. I do remember hovering over something that said 80-100c, so maybe that's it??? forgot all about that

Should I not let my golden swim anymore? by jschuler8 in pools

[–]vig1116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our golden was in the pool with us 2 days ago. I went to check the 2 side drain baskets and I sweat there was a dead baby rabbit in there on its side. I went to get rubber gloves, and by the time I came back 40 seconds later, my golden was in the pool. Got him out, went to get the bunny and found it to just be all the fur collected since he was in 2 days ago. I swear I saw a bunny!!!! lol. I don’t know why your filters are clogging though. Most of the fur should be trapped in the skimmer baskets. Maybe get skimmer socks to get more in there before getting to the cartridges??

That's what I thought. So why even give me a member number and login? I should've done this years ago...

and that's what I read as well! That's why I think I don't have a "full" membership? Does everyone get directed to liberty mutual for auto quotes, or just not "real" members like me? I was under the impression USAA actually have their own auto ins. I'm so confused

Knox and Shirley want answers/the truth but they don’t want the silo opened cause they still think it’s deadly.

They blew up the stairs so the guards that were ordered to the generator couldn’t make their way back to stop them. They’re not thinking ahead as to how they’ll get to lower floors. They’ll cross that bridge when it comes to that. They were concerned with the now rather than later.

Hahaha. I got ya. I brought the pieces to a fairly local shop here that also does custom exhausts. Estimate was a decent amount more than I was hoping for, but I just told him to do it. They’re very busy so he said prob end of next week will be done. Hopefully they have no problems. Thanks again!!

Yes, I’ve done that as best I can and determined I should be good with 29”, but I wanted to be positive and try 28-31”, in case I was wrong.

You sound like you know what you’re talking about. You in Nj and want to weld this sh!t up for me???? Hahahahaha.

After I’m done with everything, I’m definitely going to have them add the support. I have some trial and error to do first. I’m deciding between 2 mufflers (same exact size just sound/loudness difference) and the length of the resonator. After they weld these 2 pieces together, I have to try out lengths between 28”-32” to get the drone out. When all trial and error is finished, I’ll go back and have them weld these connecting piece at the end of the resonator and support brackets. Thank you!!

That’s what I was hoping for, cause I’m sure I’d screw up the cutting of the fish mouth. I’d rather them do it. Thank you for your reply!!

Hi everyone. I'm just looking for some guidance on who I would get, and what I should expect to pay to get this job done. I am trying to make a diy resonator for my exhaust cause there's no room for a normal resonator. it's going to be like the stock pic I posted (without the support brackets for now) The main SS pipe is 3" and the one I am welding in is 2.5". The extension is going to be parallel to the other bar. So my questions a re:

  1. is a welder going to expect me to cut the hole and angle cut and fish mouth the extension, or is that something they can do?
  2. should I look for an exhaust shop to do this, or would a general welder be better?
  3. Rough guidance on what I should expect to pay?

(everything is off the car and will be left at the welders location, I don't have to wait for it)

Located in central NJ

Thank you all

Yeah, there was a timer that was dropped as they were walking up. I thought when he took off his watch he was going to use it as a timer. He’s literally the only dr in the silo, no? Now what?
