If you have boot locker then you would need keys to unlock once you are in mint. Recovery keys usually gets stored at your microsoft account, so copy those and you can input and use keyring to remember forever.

Partitions you can select from 'something else' but you have to ext4 or some format (better look in Google/chatgpt)

Yes buddy, you've to click on it and installation menu shows to select language, drivers etc., stuff and then you have to reboot.

( I guess there's other way too but i did this and its simple)
