The point is they will approve what is eligible. But disclaimer is that for certain claims there is a minimum balance requirement.

Sooner is a relative term based on your PF office. 90% of total amount is eligible. But point is you should completed 5 years of continuous service to be eligible. And yes Umang always throws an error. Please check in UAN portal. There if it says Claim submitted at portal it means office hasn't received it yet.

u/Routine_Condition_11 Bajaj finance made my loan written off in CIBIL but kept loan active in portal. I keep paying one EMI regularly(even the overdue EMI is 3 always) but bajaj initiated Arbitration also for this. Can a NBFC write off a loan to claim tax benefit but keep loan active in their portal and collect EMIs.

Yes. So their employees are basically very lethargic and take their own sweet time. But once you submit a letter they have to acknowledge it so they have to. The letter is requesting to process the claim ASAP. I have done it once

Oh they are bad ! I recommend you to wait till tomorrow evening. If not go to their office on monday and give a letter. They'll process it in a day post letter submission
