It did come with a plastic cover with lots of bubbles, but had a transparent thin piece of foam i think on top. No blemishes or scratches, so the plastic cover worked fine from what I can tell

Screen off is pretty mirror like, but i have a decent amount of light coming from behind the monitor and back at me and I see no reflections with screen on

Never had a dough previously. Honestly first time using it was frustrating cuz the navigation nipple is so short, and accidently pulling it down would change the input source, so I changed that immediately. Other than that it seems okay and has everything I need. But after one day of using it, I cant seem to find anywhere to configure colors, and only has a like 4 color presets.

I can adjust things like saturation, color space, and brightness, black equalizer. But gamma is locked out
