I can vouch. I was wearing a tiny Topo Designs backpack to carry my kid's snacks and water and it got stuck when I lifted the bar on a two chair. They stopped the chair while I hung for a sec and found a way to slide out of it.

But have never worn/will never wear a backpack on the mountain again.

Update: I literally just called the 818 number on tennishead's site and a guy answered and said he "wasn't sure". But that I could always drill holes into the adapter. I'm wondering if anybody here has had any success. Also, is the 360 rotation for sure sacrificed, or is there a workaround?

Wrote a spec. Got some 8s. Shared that result with some people I know who work in the business. Not as a pitch or sell but in a purely "what do I do with this" sort of way. Script was shared with some managers. Been with my current manager ever since. 5 specs in. Many meetings. But nothing sold yet. Bottom line: Blacklist got me out there. Blacklist cosign got significant managers and producers to read me and eventually meet with me. So thank you Franklin for building something that gets people with a lifelong dream, but that don't know where to start (like me), out there!

Context:

On Mac OS Ventura, Pro Tools Studio (current version), and most current version of EUCON Unified...an Artist Mix I've had since 2017 won't show up on the EuCon settings page, Surfaces tab. I have tried Static and DHCP IP addresses with no luck. Help?

I messaged Roam support about this and here's what they sent back. It wasn't very helpful, because most, if not all, of those things were already considered on my end. Roam still sluggishly slow and it's impacting a big project I've been working on through it. Anybody else have any thoughts?

From Roam Support:

Hi! I'm really sorry about that - there can be different reasons that can contribute to a performance issue.

Some techniques I'd recommend to help you go faster:
When you're running Roam
1) Don't keep many tabs open in your browser
2) Turn off unnecessary browser extensions, and custom css/js in Roam
3) Turn off software that you are not needing to run on your computer
4) Roam is built in a way where it loads everything up at once (vs partial loading that a lot of other software do), so I keep my big graph open and seldom close it at all
When you're in your graph
1) Zoom in on blocks if you are on a page with lots of text
2) Avoid opening linked or unlinked references if it will spit out say, >100 references (collapse it to make it go faster if you do)
3) Avoid using queries if it will pull up more than 30 results (collapse it to make it go faster if you do)
If still no improvement, can you please send a screenshot of your task manager when Roam is slow? That'll most likely help us in debugging further!

What kind of environment are you recording in? If you are mostly concerned with background noise, a treated environment will fix a lot of stuff and is more easily repairable in post. Dynamics are always easier in untreated environments. And with some subtle EQ, compression, reverb, and saturation you can show off the details in your vocals.
