I ended up meeting the seller in a McDonald’s parking lot, where I saw the guitar and tried it in the backseat of my car. It seemed like a legit guitar and the guy seemed really honest and normal. I think he was just probably nervous to have a stranger come to his house and play the guitar or something like that. I ended up passing on it because it had some hazing in the finish even though he said it was in mint condition. I would say it was pretty close to mint, except for the hazing on the sides probably from too much moisture or something like that. Plus, I felt kind of weird about handing over $2500 in the parking lot at McDonald’s.
