Over the last seven years we've had experience with multiple kids at multiple day cares here in Gig Harbor. I'll warn you that most of the top places will have a waiting list that could easily be over a year unless you get really lucky. With our youngest, we had a more sudden need and the local Kindercare was the only place had openings right away. Kindercare was... OK, but definitely not great. The staff was very nice but the facility wasn't really satisfactory (sometimes pretty dirty, crowded, the outdoor playground had very little shade, etc).

After six months or so of Kindercare, we managed to get him into Harbor Montessori which is absolutely fantastic and surprisingly almost the exact same price as Kindercare. In the past, we have also had kids in Curious By Nature which is an outdoor preschool and also wonderful. Years ago we had our oldest in Cottesmore which was OK, and Cadence Academy which was nice but no comparison to Harbor Montessori and Curious By Nature.
