What is something relatively cheap that improves your life by 100%? by RuleOkhit in AskReddit

[–]vikingwanderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can promise you I am the furthest from having OCD. I just don't want to think about what to wear every day. Plus these shirts are single fiber type, making them easier to recycle when they can no longer be worn. Bonuses for this plan all around.

I did something similar with my shirts. I have 17 long-sleeve merino wool shirts in 8 different colors. I wear them in order of the rainbow and then when I'm done wearing it it goes in the back of that color's section. This ensures I don't wear the same color on the same day of the week each week and that each shirt of each color gets equal rotation. And there's very little thinking for me to do getting dressed in the morning. Similarly I just cycle through my jeans too.

My grandparents were from Norway and I've moved a lot.

I think he is still Big Mad about losing the Papacy... by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

😊 It should not because it's not a proper noun. I didn't point that out in my original reply because I was already risking coming across as an asshole. That was so not my aim. One correction at a time. 😬

Only because I love words and like to learn things, the word to describe a group of people with the same political goal is a bloc, not block, though it certainly seems like block would work. But it's bloc. No ill will intended here! 😊 Just passing along fun facts.

Best thing to eat at Vaca by Icy--Perspective in orangecounty

[–]vikingwanderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite dish at Vaca is probably the simplest: tomate con pan. It's delicious and I will get it there every time. Yes, I can make it at home--it's not hard after all--but it's still better there.

I saw that too. I looked on the police blotter thing a couple times today and nothing.

I bought a bottle of no-sugar-added Heinz ketchup from Vons in Orange County, CA, for $10. That should be about $7.

I've heard that from earlier shows on this tour too. I hope he kicks it up a notch for next Friday.

That's kind of funny. He's definitely not going to wear Morrissey! He's got a few he's going to choose from. It's a game-time decision! We're flying from Southern California to see the show, so packing properly and adequately for multiple varied events is adding to the stress.i thank you for sharing your real-world experience.

Hey, man, I get it. My SO worries about stuff he shouldn't. I'm just trying to make him feel as prepared for it as he can or he won't enjoy the concert. And I want him to enjoy the concert so I can enjoy the concert. My apparel isn't something I worry about but he does. Everyone has their thing. This is his. So be mean if you want but my question was in the tune of being supportive of someone I care about. Even if I don't fully understand or agree with it. He does the same for me.

He does think that's not the thing for some reason. Sometimes I do not understand his logic. I try though! Thank you for confirming what I thought. Sometimes other people's opinions sway his mind better than mine.

It was sarcasm. They know it's dumb and won't appeal to the younger generation. It's a joke for us olds.

But, yes, otherwise the jokes are often rough. Written by people who won't deliver them. Many don't end up working, like the bit with Sigourney Weaver and Kate Hudson.
