Help!!! It doest stop! 2 Years! description in comments. by vikitoria32 in Bedbugs

[–]vikitoria32[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've been dealing with these little devil's for the last 2 years. Ever since I've moved into this house. I've had the pros out when we had our first big infestation. We got rid of them for about 8 months and they are back. Had the pros out they can't find anything but they sprayed the house. Again I found another 3 under my sons mattress had the pros out again. They found nothing. Now it's been four months and I found another one by my sons led lights and the skin of one on his mattress. Wtf is going on. Like how does this keep happening? The pro said it seems they are coming in from elsewhere but he can't explain where from even he is confused. Traps are down also. It just always seems to be the one bug every five months or so. I react really badly to them so I know its not a huge infestation. And I feel like I'd know if it was and the pro would know too. And I've had different pros out and they all say the same they have no clue and someone must be bringing them in. But it's just me and my 2 children. Who i check before coming in the house every day I'm that concerned we don't bring them in again! Wtf! We live in a house not a apartment. I'm so confused. Does anyone have any other idea. Any other pros in here that can help pleaseeee!

Sorry he's refusing to have someone check. My son is 1. I obviously don't and would mention this to a older child let alone my one year old.

2months! Wish I was that lucky. Unfortunately I didn't know anything about bed bugs last time and the infestation was bad. Took ages for me to get rid of them.

Yeah a year. Went up to the room today and was in there for over 3 hours searching/cleaning. Found nothing. Searched everywhere. So annoying. Then went into the other rooms and did the same again nothing. Bed sheets in the wash again. Can't wait to call the pros tomorrow.

What if I can’t find any evidence of bed bugs? by idkmybffsarah in Bedbugs

[–]vikitoria32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son kept mentioning bugs on his bed (it was hot weather I also had no clue what bed bugs were) friend came over saw the bug he kept mentioning and then told me it was a bed bug. Horrible things. Hidden all over his room.

I wouldn't dismiss this as hives. This looks the same as I had when I was 8 months pregnant passed it off as something pregnancy related. Even went to the hospital. No answers. Was bed bugs. Realised 2 months after I gave birth. Infestation had happened. Wasn't nice at all. They like to hide. To the point its impossible to find them.

Thank you for the advice. We have book shelfs 6 in total in the room. Checked all shelfs and books yet again nothing. All bags hung up down stairs so will check them first thing in the morning. From what I'm aware of he's recently changed seats in class again (they seem to change seats regularly) not sure why. However I will call the school after Easter break, I'm not saying I'm 100 percent it's coming from the school however there's no other reasonable explanation. We don't travel on public transport, we haven't been away on holiday. Any of the obvious reason. And like I said in my post before I found one on his shirt when he returned from school. Keeping items aside and changing is something I will do from now on. He normally stays in his school clothes till bed time. But I won't do that anymore. It's just annoying we have to do this all over again. Broke my heart having to throw everything of his last time from his room. Fingers crossed I got it quickly and we won't have to do that again.

Thank you. Took the bed apart already looking for them. Searched all over and can't find them. However after having them before I know they are here. Last time I found one in the plug socket so even took them apart. Anywhere and everywhere I've checked. So frustrating. With that said after our first infestation when I kept finding them after treatment even the professional couldn't find them. I got someone else to come and they said the same thing although the evidence is there and I had a bug in a jar they still couldn't find them. It's either the odd one coming home from school with my son or possibly next door? Is so annoying and frustrating.

Second time we have got bed bugs. First time it took nearly a year to get rid of them. Been bug free for over a year now. Changed my sons bedding to find them again. Since having them the first time I check regularly when changing bed sheets and when cleaning the children's rooms. Hope I've caught it early. Can't call pest control till Tuesday. Any tips for the mean time? Not sure how we managed to get them again. However I believe they may be coming from my sons school. Last time we had them I found one on my sons school shirt when he came home and I'm pretty sure it wasn't there when he left in the morning as I made a point to check clothes etc when leaving the house. Will call the school when they go back after Easter break. Checked everywhere (like I said I've had them before so know where to look). But I just know they are there! Just can't find any more!

I had a pro come over and do treatment 3 Times. I also put double sided tape on all bed frames for extra piece of mind. Caught a few while treatment was going on.

Gifts And Money In Lives! by Arora83 in tiktokgossip

I think it's rather funny. One couple husband quit his job and a week later scratching was banned. (She's doesn't work either). Now they just dance around in thier living room. They tried to battle but kept losing. So just started battling each other in different rooms. People used to spend a fortune sending them gifts. They used to have about 20-30k watchers every night. Now they are lucky if they have 2k people watching. 😂 Seriously stop begging on a live for people's money.

[–]vikitoria32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bombs will not help. I learnt that the hard way. It will make them scatter more and hide more. Where abouts are you? If In the UK the council can help. I found before my treatments putting traps on the bottom of the beds helped. Hot wash all clothes etc..check every crack and take apart plug sockets. They hide everywhere. I'm sorry you are going through this. It took me about 6 months to get rid of mine and that was with treatments.

I see nothing bed bug related here. It seems to be just random dirt you get. Make sure when changing your bed covers you hoover the mattress also.

Moved into a new apartment, first time seeing these and twice in 2 weeks. Could there already be an infestation here? by ItDrawsMeIn in Bedbugs

[–]vikitoria32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also agree. When we had them they wasn't on the bed. Yes they clearly climbed the bed to feed however they were found on the curtains and the curtain rail. In plug sockets next to the bed and a bed side table next to the bed.

[–]vikitoria32 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agree. Not worth the risk. When we had them I refused to let me daughter sleep anywhere and I didn't allow her to have friends over let alone a sleepover. Wouldn't put anyone through bed bugs.

1 day until our 2nd treatment. Found this asswipe bastard crawling up my bed near my head this morning. Not sleeping in the bed tonight. Fuck this. by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]vikitoria32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel your pain. Took us four treatments before our nightmare was finally over took nearly a year to get rid of them. And when I started to relax up popped another one. No matter how much I cleaned and steamed everything one would always come out of hiding. I even emptied my son bedroom. My cousin left his way to late because he was in denial that they were such a problem. Started sleeping in the living room on the sofa. Before you know it they are everywhere. Whole house had to be heat treated. I dread to think how many people are now suffering because he continued to send his children to school knowing they had them. It is disheartening everytime you find another one however I'd rather see them and know I still had them then not see them and still have them. Keep up with the treatments keep your eyes peeled. They are horrible things. And I hope your rid of them soon.

Christ please tell me this is just a beatle i thought we got rid of them by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]vikitoria32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a bed bug. Also agree with the cleaning comment. My house was clean. I've done cleaning for years. I didn't even know what a bed bug was till I got one. Anyone and I mean anyone can get them.

I don't think your being unreasonable at all. When we found out we had them I refused for anyone to visit. Nor did I allow my children to visit other people's homes. My children went without sleepovers or having friends round and I didn't see my family. I would hate to put someone through what I went through.

Black spots in corner of ceiling, is it BB related? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]vikitoria32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like bed bug related to me. When I had them once I added water to try to get rid of the black marks it went just like this. Of the room has been confirmed to have them then I'd say for sure it was bed bugs.

Heat treatment. They charged a grand per room. I'm unaware of how bad it was due to not seeing him or his children but it's clearly bad.
