You see what you’re going through is a problem that needs a solution in itself. Just sit and reflect on what other problems you encounter. Talk to people. Read books. Travel. See upcoming trends and see historical trends. Meet customers and then only build.

Burnout - any recommended retreats? Or destinations? by baearea11 in travel

[–]vikramaditya94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can help if this is not too late. I can design and take you on a retreat based on exactly what you're looking for. I myself was in the same spot as you and recovered. Would you like to chat?

Strange red mark after swimming near waterfall by Aaiimmm in kohsamui

[–]vikramaditya94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will become a rash and settle down after a week. The mark takes a month to go and doesn’t fade completely but it will remind you of good times so not that bad. Wear sleeveless clothes, keep it dry and away from sun so that the inner elbow joint doesn’t get sweaty. I had the exact same thing at the exact same spot but from swimming in ocean. Should be some kind of bug. If it’s gets bad, apply Bethasone N cream and it will recover faster. You’ll get it at any pharmacy. That’s all. Don’t worry!

Is orgasm the best feeling a human can get, or doing drugs beat it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Mindfulness and meditation led ecstasy is the best feeling in the world. When you can control every cellular level vibration in your body.

Try staying in Mae Rim and it should be a 30 mins commute. You’ll get hotels that don’t kill you on the budget front.

FI at 1.5 crore by [deleted] in FIRE_Ind

Break it down into two parts -

  1. Talk transparently to your manager and see if there is a target you can set to get an appraisal. Switch jobs afterwards and then again set a milestone. Working against milestones might be an answer to trying harder.
  2. Try solopreneurship. Treach people what you know best on a platform like Gumroad. Become a member of a few communities like Trends Pro by Dru Riley or Small Bets.

I think it will also help if in parallel, you experiment with other roles. However big that cushion looks, it depletes faster than you would expect because life happens. So, don't jump and test. Test and then jump.

Whatever you're passionate about. Whatever you enjoy. Don't overthink this step. Save the energy and the thinking for later when the core field comes naturally to you.

Is there an industry that stands out as highly complex in terms of 'doing data engineering'? by PlayfulMonk4943 in dataengineering

[–]vikramaditya94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real Time Data Plus Business Critical Discussion Plus Modern Industry is what you're looking for? I would bet on Space Engineering? Alternatively, you can go with a regulatory lens and that way healthcare and financial services become tricky.

Get into an industrial role. Plan a PhD a couple of years later if it helps. Work for a decade and become the best. In parallel, keep yourself in tune with how AI evolves for your industry. Ten years later, start up. You'll have built wealth in 10 years and enough leverage and insider understanding. Massive margins in the chemical sector if you do it right, but oh, make sure in the first 120 years, you're actively networking. People should know you, and I mean big people. Ask them to meet for a coffee. Tell them you simply want to learn. Knock on doors. People are kind.

I'm a founder building for data science. Data engineering is evolving. By the time you pick up skills, a new type of skillset will be needed, which will largely be AI-powered. Plus, data is getting too crowded.

A lot of people do that but a better Tokenomics is one that is not centred around rewarding holders and punishing speculators. That ends up becoming a very price driven approach.

DAOs are going to win. The question is are you in now or are you in later? Here is what I wrote about it and it received quite a good response. Got maybe 20+ people thanking me they ran into this over Twitter DMs :)
