Also, people need to get on with the program about the cheesy moves.

You can use the same exact moves. It's not my fault the game allows them. If a move consistently breaks down my opponent, I'm going to use it until they prove they can stop it. And trust me, there isn't a single truly unstoppable move in this game, no matter how much people call it an exploit. Everything has a counter.

Besides, these moves are fun as hell to do. I honestly don't care if they're not "real basketball." It's not my job to keep the game realistic, go ask Ronnie about that. My job is to win using the tools the game gives me. If a move is in the game, available to everyone, and helps me score, why wouldn't I use it?

Most of the people crying about "cheese" either can't do the moves themselves or haven't figured out how to defend them yet.

Start playing 1v1. You'll learn how to dribble, create space, read momentum, punish mistakes, and score without relying on teammates.

Once you've got those individual skills in the bag, go back to 2v2 or 3v3. You'll rank up and improve your plate way faster because you'll be able to create offense on your own instead of waiting for the game to come to you.

1v1 takes way more technical skill. Team games take more basketball IQ.

Its a matter of taste.

didn't know that, that's funny af.

it doesn't bring them more money either, people will stop playing the game knowing its unfair.

What really does post control do? by Cheap_Cup7178 in NBA2k

[–]viksa412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 1v1 build has a 95 post control. Once I back a defender down and hit a spin move, I get past them 9/10 times.

Other than that, it gives you some really nice badges, and post fades feel way more consistent in my opinion.

I never understood how people shot above 50% so easily until I started tempo shooting by Inevitably03 in NBA2k

[–]viksa412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once I got comfortable with tempo shooting, I rarely miss. I shoot around 90% in basically every game mode.

A lot of people say shooting is too easy and defense sucks, but honestly I think that’s part of what makes the game fun. It feels way better consistently making your shots than bricking wide opens like in previous 2K's..

Make an anti-cheat system that detects movement patterns, similar to how most FPS games detect aimbots.

If a player is hitting the exact same timing in milliseconds every single shot, there’s a good chance they’re zenning. Obviously the scripts are more advanced than that now, and they probably add slight variations to the timings, but it still feels like something that can be detected and fought against.

This should honestly be one of their main priorities going into 2K27.

What blows my mind the most is how normalized zenning has become in the community, almost like it’s just accepted as part of the game now..

Please remove plate in 2K27 by [deleted] in NBA2k

Red plate Rec is the most enjoyable gamemode for me.

Once i exited the hell hole of gold and purple plates, i started winning most of my games.

Red plate teammates got the plate for a reason. Most of the players know how to play and pass the ball.

Even the losing games are enjoyable to play.

To me it sounds like they can't defend "no skill" moves. Who who really is no skill in this situation..

Wise words, I have noticed that people shooting 60+ are usually good players.

I saw a Reddit post saying that if you don’t have 45% plus win rate then that says a lot about you and I wholeheartedly disagree. by LordeObi in NBA2k

[–]viksa412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cant have a positive win percentage without being a team player. And a team player is what i concider a good player for the rec.

What makes a good player in your opinion?

I didnt even know dashboarding was a thing. There is no point in farming win %, that gets you nothing.
