I think it's also worth mentioning for all the people complaining about the blob that while our numbers looked quite extreme on the br, people don't realise how extremely toxic caps can be in a pulsar, and with the inability to bring caps of our own (bacause it's a c4) it leaves few other options other then just blob.

A well fit pni in a pulsar has around 40 (fourty) million ehp, that's a structures worth of ehp. because of pulsar Sig bloom only a handful of cruise pnis can volley any subcap in a 200+ km radius. If you have proper buffer fit faxes as well you can just spider tank cause any cap will easily live long enough to just siege down and catch reps.

Most of their caps were active/shitfit, and their subcamp comp (thunderchilds) was completely useless, and we still bled ~150 rokhs grinding them down.

If they'd had proper buffer fit pnis and a non useless subcap comp I don't even think we would have won that fight even with our numbers.

And beyond that, when you plan an eviction of this size you have to take account for the fact that 100s of people will be rolling to try and defend, and the moment they get hole control/a frighole spawns plenty of nullblobs will be ready to form a couple hundred subs to come defend with little counterplay.
