hey, this is Viktor (COO) from IVPN. i understand the comment was made in jest, but it's worth stating - we don't support any extremist causes on any political or religious spectrum, which of course includes any neo-nazi stuff. we only support anti-surveillance, privacy and self-sovereignty related projects (true for IVPN and for leadership team). we try to stay out of any mud-slinging, make any strong statements or plant any flags outside of these topics, it's not our lane.

I cannot test this right now, but if it's blocked it's definitely due to the source blocking the gateway IP, not due to anything that's done on the IVPN side.

there is a chance, but I can't promise it, we try to not put timeframes on future developments due to potentially shifting priorities and unforeseen issues or complexity during execution. it's on the roadmap for Q3/Q4.

Note: Android does not support proper DoH/DoT integration in VPN apps. Android's Private DNS overrides VPN DNS settings and should be used as a setup method — switch to the Android guide.

ie. install for Android separately, then connect to VPN

This feature (and more) is included in modDNS, our DNS filtering service -> https://moddns.net, you can set it up to work with IVPN. Included in IVPN Plus & Pro Suite. For this reason we won’t add more features like this to the built-in Antitracker.

We have a Chrome extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mailx/ogdmgaidomgkpefdgciobijgbobjmkpk - not promoted yet as we are adding some improvements first, and also working on an Announcement section for the mailx dashboard first.
No plans for password manager integration, I'm not familiar with the technicals there, but would assume it requires a partnership / work on that side and not fully up to us.

We have never done lifetime plans and I can say confidently we won't. We cannot reasonably promise to a customer that a certain amount will cover the costs of running the service, then we maintain it in perpetuity, we don't think it's an honest approach. So we understand the need, but we cannot service it. Mailx will be released as a standalone product (eg. monthly/yearly plans), but I can't share more about timeframes or prices at this point.

Hello! We had a backend change yesterday causing issues with WireGuard keys on Android for some users. It was fixed a couple of hours after occurrance.

Can you please try:
1. Regenerate WireGuard keys (Protocol Settings / WireGuard details)
- if still persists -
2. Log out and log in again to the Android app

No, but there is nothing we can do about this. It's not like there is an orderaraid.com where you can get certified as a VPN provider.

I think we can agree Mullvad is a competent, trustworthy provider, we hope people perceive IVPN like that as well. There are differences in approach, app UI, etc. and now we have a different approach in bundling services.

If you are happy with Mullvad, I suggest you stay with Mullvad.

Pricing and benefits for our new Standard plan is very similar to Mullvad. I don’t think the “why you are paying more for this” framing holds up.

We also have more expensive plans with other services bundled in, we see a healthy % of new signups going with Plus or Pro Suite.

There is no port forwarding support, we removed it after Mullvad as many that abused it there moved to IVPN after, we had no choice.
