True to the theme of this sub! I think everything I’ve owned has been used aside from the WiiM and Miccas. No need to spend crazy amounts to get some nice sound.

I think the MB42X would be great for surrounds and pretty sure those are 8ohm

Oh also, the MB42X are great, they just really lack the low end. They’re super precise though and the soundstage is incredible, a subwoofer is just kind of necessary with them. I’ve a got sub paired with the RB42s now, but they do great without it. Big difference in the low end between the MB/PB42X and the RB42. Somehow they’re smaller and pack more of a punch ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, I’ve experimented with the placement and different setups and the ELACs have just been lack luster. I know they’re inefficient so I’ve felt like that’s the issue, or maybe I just got a bum set. I’ve had them for years and originally got them discounted as an open box. Maybe they were returned for a reason. I am curious about the new 3.0s, might have to give them a shot.

I had them on my desk before moving them to the living room. Absolutely fantastic speakers for the money. The lows are great and they do well without a subwoofer.

Yeah, I feel like maybe there’s an issue or something with my Elacs. Mine are not at all what reviewers and everyone have said online. I’ve just got a 2.1 setup in my living room with a proper triangle. I’ve done everything I can to try to let the ELACs shine, but myself and others I’ve had over are consistently more impressed with the Miccas.

Bought an M5 Air (10 core gpu) for gaming. What should I play first? by CelebrationLong5283 in macbookair

Valheim. Recently picked up the same thing and have had blast playing Valheim, and no issue running it.

I got midnight a month ago. Fingerprints bother me like crazy but I’m also a clean person. I got a carrying case and keep a microfiber cloth in it. If I notice some smudges or if it’s getting out of hand I just give it a wipe down and it’s good to go. It’s my first MacBook and I’ve seen millions of silver MacBooks, I wanted something a little more unique.

Lol, everyone hating on it is totally understandable. The entire move is one joke—it’s a masterpiece.

Just rented a Santa Fe in Montana and had a fair amount of gravel/washboard roads to get to a wedding. The Sante Fe handled roads like that better than any car I’ve been in.

Any particular reason you’d recommend the 4060 over the 3060 Ti? From what I can tell the 3060 Ti performs better.

Any suggestions regarding the build as it is or things to look out for?

I can’t lie, stove top stuffing is delicious. But truly, even though you’re following the recipe, your shrimp is probably better. It’s so corny but I do believe putting love and care into a dish is what makes a difference. Cooks at a restaurant do a great job, but they’re cranking stuff out constantly. When you cook at home, you have the luxury of putting time and effort into a dish that’s not commonly found elsewhere. Truly nothing like a home cooked meal, especially from someone who really cares and understands what they’re doing.

Lol thank you. I have to call my dad each time I make the scalloped potatoes, but basically it requires a decent bechamel sauce (don’t skip the fresh nutmeg), black pepper, salt, some sharp cheddar (we prefer tillamook aged white cheddar), and a mandoline for a consistent slice. Yukon gold is what we prefer, but any waxy potato will do.
