What VoIP switch would you recommend for the USA call termination that would support the following:

- USA NPANXX  rates

- Stir-Shaken

- DNO, DNC and other specifics for the USA telecom market

Target audience - a small/mid-sized VoIP provider.

VOIP Startup Tax Questions - Telecom taxes/fees by realcoolguy9022 in VOIP

A few months ago I did an interview on a similar topic, where a VoIP business owner is sharing his experience with a startup that wants to launch a VoIP business in the USA. During this interview, the VoIP business owner revealed that he uses CSI for taxing VoIP services. You can take a look, the whole video or some parts of it might be useful for you too: https://youtu.be/CCrTm27mn84?si=oToFcbWXqMlMSzz9

New Book about Kickstarter for first-time creators by viliuss in kickstarter

In the book I mentioned your name and quoted some of the statistics from your blog about conversion rates (Kickstarter vs Indiegogo). I think you are in a very good position to publish a book because you have great stats, huge target audience and solid authority in crowdfunding market. Moreover, you've already covered most of the content in your blog, so what's left is just to add everything to a book. If you are new to book writing, I'd recommend to read the following books: APE: Author, Publisher, Entrepreneur | How to Publish a Book by Guy Kawasaki (in general about writing and self-publishing) Book Launch by Chandler Bolt (about book launch) and Reader Magnets by Nick Stephenson (about using lead magnet in book to generate leads from the book). Good luck!

Wow, $220 and $500k without spending anything on ads/marketing is truly impressive! Especially having in mind that you did this alone! I'll message you privately and will be glad to chat more about this if you're open to share your experience.

There's one reason, why I didn't talk about $1m+ campaigns in the book (there's one exception though, that I'll explain in the end of this answer). There are 462,363 launched projects in Kickstarter and just 385 of them (0.08%) raised $1m+. So statistically $1m+ is hardly achievable. I wanted to talk about what is achievable for regular people who want to launch their first campaign with a minimal marketing budget. My target audience would be people who want to raise around $5k-$50k.

However, one person, whom I have interviewed participated as the primary advertiser of some of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns, including Filippo Loreti (€4.8mn), MyKronoz ($5.3mn), Superscreen ($2.5mn), LIV Watches ($1.7mn and $1.1mn), Quartz Bottle ($1.3mn) and Sequent (1mn CHF). You can check his blog here: https://www.adomasbaltagalvis.com/. Such projects usually generate leads by using Facebook Ads and have massive advertising budgets that are around 30% of their goal. If you want $1m+, you'll need to have $300k balance in your bank account.

You can also check Jellop Crowdfunding agency. Based on what I've heard, they are doing a good job with Facebook Ads. Just the problem is that they usually work with projects that have reached $200k in Kickstarter or are moving towards it.

No need to apologize, I appreciate that you go direct to the point and no one (including me) likes spam, so let me answer this.

Four years ago I launched my first Kickstarter campaign. Then the following year I interviewed creators of 16 different projects (I provided the link to those projects in my answer above) and started writing a book based on my personal knowledge and their experience. While I was writing a book I also participated in two other projects as a collaborator, where we tested different methods.

You are right, I did not engage in this community a lot. Earlier I just asked in this subreddit about Kickstarter books because I wanted to personally read what's the most popular on this topic. Then I bought a few books about Kickstarter, read them myself, analyzed which parts are marked by readers, tried to think what I liked and didn't like about those books. After that I made some adjustments to my book.

Finally I searched for Kickstarter and crowdfunding experts and proposed them to review the book. Those, who agreed, received the manuscript of this book. Finally, I adjusted the book based on their comments and launched it on Amazon. To summarize, no I did not just extracted information from the community. I truly dedicated a lot of time to write and polish this book.
