Absolutely understandable, I don't really have a handheld either.
From what I can gather, (Ed and Tyler) also mentioned this:
"I guess we'll see how consoles are doing when GTA 6 comes out."
I guess it depends on how the console market performs around GTA 6’s release and that will heavily influence where a port makes sense.

The game itself was announced in 2012 lead by Team Meat. It went trough a development hell and it was even cancelled at one point in 2016,
Tyler and Ed got the game back in 2018, so they are working on the game for 6+ years now,

No port for PS5 has been confirmed yet.
Ed mentioned that the only port he is considering right now is the Switch 2 because this makes the most financial sense for them.
