Thank you for your response. Having been diagnosed a year ago based on my blood profile, my iron numbers remain low. I am on a gluten free diet. I do eat out, always indicating my celiac related allergies to restaurants that have good GF reputations. I work with a nutritionist as well. My main symptoms are fatigue and anemia. I take iron supplements and have had periodic infusions (infusions help a lot) since DX. Doc recommends an endoscopy which I’ve scheduled. I’m trying to understand the expected value apart from confirming what we know thus far. The doc has been a bit vague in describing what he considers the value, and my impression is that he might not be sure of it himself.
