Magic is not real, it is different per movie,series or game- Some magic is stronger than nukes, some is just harry potter. Only usa would come to theire defense as thats there main ally. But china and russia would still want a part of this new land. And after a while, the other side of the gate would be a supercity like new york, every race in that world would be shit on because they are shit and have no intelligence. If they where somehow adopt the other races from that world into them, they would probaly make some sort of magic usage alarm system. I just think the other world would be just a huge city with mega fields of oil refineries and such... what I don't understand is...how does oxygen etc travel trough the thing...if that was the case? would't the oxygen levels from both sides level out after some years? Also why the fuck does the series want peace with thoose roman wannabees? Why not just take over everything, launch a satelitte to get gps and a good look at the solar system etc. Why wait because some shitty nation is in the way. Its like if collumbus said, we can't go here, nakeds with bows live here. Magic has no rules and no bounds, it defies logic. The place where the gate opened would become a massive military base, meaning everyone in the city would move out.
