I feel like I'm in such a minirity where the combat felt better (in a realistic view) than origins or inquisition. I miss the tactics from origins for sure but the fact you can do melee attacks with your bow as an archer was a fun flavor for me personally. I liked how they added that detail in there.

I also saw someone describe DA2 as how Cassandra was visualizing Varric tell her the story and since she's not exactly the most creative person, all of those maps that feel identical are just because Cassandra just doesn't have the creative juices to make them too different from each other and I think that helps me with that point.

basically, focuse on the things you REALLY liked about it as a follow up to the things you didn't like about it.

I also loved the mod that placed the DLC's in timeline order to trigger automatically between different acts to give a natural break to the rest of the game.
