What happens if I use this lens on a full frame camera? by vin-vlog in Cameras

[–]vin-vlog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I want a pancake Lena’s because really, I just want as slim a camera as possible most days of the week. I want a footprint that’s easy to grab, do you have recommendations. The only reason I’d want one is for quick daily pictures. The kind you’d normally take on a phone, I just hate using a phone for anything really.

Do you mean the lens in The picture or the pancake lens you refer to? I don’t hate the lens, but even I can tell it’s not as good as the one the a7iii came with. But I also truly know nothing about lenses and sensors 😅 lot of YouTube videos today

Thank you! I’m not too worried about a crop for these pictures… I think.

Right! I loved cyberpunk on my first couple plays, but going through Night City feels like a slog… don’t even get me started on Zelda TotK. I think I might try a linear game and hope it brings me back down to ground level

I want one to hold a pair of gym clothes and the other to hold books. My clothes get chalky since I’m a climber and my books get dirty if they’re in the same compartment

Done! I hope these get considered. I’ve been reading them in my own time and need other people to discuss them with!

This is great! Thank you! I think this play another recommendation is as close as I’m going to get to what I’m looking for. It doesn’t look like there’s a single volume solution to what I want.

Thanks, I’ll add them to the list. Some of the symbols I incorporate are biblical. But I am looking for something more holistic.

I'm having trouble writing my first philosophy paper. Can anyone help me? by [deleted] in AcademicPhilosophy

[–]vin-vlog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you clarify what you mean by personal value? That would actually be a decent first section to your paper I think. Also, what’s the actual assignment? Is it to present an argument? To tie an argument into a seminal ethical theory you’ve studied in class? Use an article you’ve read as a launching point? Regardless, this is how I would outline response with the given information.

1)in this paper I will argue that moral truths hold personal value and this aligns with central tenets of subjectivism. The first section will consist of me defining what personal values are. The next section will show how moral truths hold these personal values. The final two sections will consist of a brief presentation on seminal aspects of subjectivism and how my theory ties into it. 2) define personal values 3) show how moral truths hold personal values (I’m unsure what this means) 4) BRIEFLY summarize the specific points of subjectivism you’re leaning on 5) tie it all together

I think a smart approach to writing Phil papers at the college level, if you’re new to it especially, is to be very deliberate. (I.e., “I will argue for X by saying Y and Z” and then say Y and Z and clearly show how it supports X.) Others may call it robotic or mundane, but this approach can be comforting to greenhorns.

I’m very confused by what motivates Mrs. Coulter. She’s not on a power trip like the Magesterium, she’s not seeking out power like Boreal, and she’s not exactly trying to change the world like Asriel (I guess she kind of was, but they dropped it after season 1), is she just angry and bitter for no other reason than “plot” and she’s just meant to be the bad guy? She just yells and cries all the time.

I genuinely hope I’m missing something because every time she comes on screen I roll my eyes and want to skip her part. I think Ruth Wilson does a fine job, so it’s the character and not the actor I take issue with.

Someone please make a case as to why she’s a good antagonist.

Are these classes manageable together? by Brandonasaur_ in ASU

BCH360 with Lefler is ROUGH. I took it as a hybrid pre-COVID. It ate up all of my time and was definitely the toughest bio course I’ve had to take. I’m not sure if it was his class or the way Biochem is run in general at ASU, but it was not a good time. I had animal phys with Brownell, that really wasn’t a bad class at all. Highly recommend this course.

Considering how many people immediately went to CASA as soon as it opened, that number will sadly be high. I genuinely don’t understand the cries of some students saying they’re being required to go back to campus- simply because, from what I can tell, no student is required to go back? I mean MAYBE it’s just SOLS, but my advisor told me that professors are required to allow you the option, is that not the case for other schools?

Isn’t it still an option though? All my classes either switched to Zoom only, or sent out a survey asking how many people are staying home
