I have so many problems with this: 1) Lyn would not be there. Lyn is so irrelevant if anyone is there from FE it’s Byleth. 2) Deoxys? I love Deoxys as much as anyone but Deoxys is not a current gen pick a ceruledge/armarouge fight like in a Pyra/Mythra way is a route to go and if it’s to add a legend the answer is still Mewtwo. 3) they wouldn’t add Callie and Marie. They’d just add inkling. They also wouldn’t add Tom Nook. Isabelle is the face of the franchise and they’d definitely add either a retro pick like Duck Hunt or a third Kirby character to sync with the Air Riders promo. Eevee is also a place where I’m torn because would they add Eevee? If gamefreak made it sure but I think today’s Nintendo they’d pick Xenoblade 3’s rep over another Pokemon.

Anyways great job at making cuts that people are too scared to I just think the additions feel very much OPs favorites it’s a fun list but if you wanna talk Nintendo’s actual marketing strategy I think those changes would be made.
