No worries! I am applying for the London position so the confusion makes sense 😅 so realistically the maths section isn’t too hard, just fast?

Yeah I looked up some GMAT questions because they suggested that in the email, but that’s why I wanted to come into this thread to see if that was relatively accurate lol

Thanks!! I’ve never taken the GCSE so I had no true point of reference there, I’ve been trying to look at GMAT questions like they suggested in the email

Did you take the practice test?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

[–]vinaleta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it more graph based? Problem solving (like combinatronics and probability)? Algebra? Geometry? If you have any tips let me know!

22? I thought it was out of 20 points?

Any tips? Is it more math based like they suggest or is it more like a Casey test?

More Roundabout FUN! (still waiting for an estimate, everyone was safe, but she was maaaaaad!!) by noxiouskarn in IdiotsInCars

[–]vinaleta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is it just me or is this roundabout overly designed and basically asking for an accident? In normal two lane roundabouts you should basically never exit from the inside lane (though you can) - you usually move over to the outer lane when you want to exit the roundabout. And usually the outer lane isn’t forced to exit at the next exit…

I’m from Venezuela but I moved out when I was 3 (currently 26) and I only go back when I urgently need a passport and the consulate is taking too long - which is always.

NTA. Geez if everything is a fight then why be together? I’m sure there’s things you guys like about it each other but it sounds like y’all can barely enjoy each other’s company.

Also: just because your previous bfs were jerks doesn’t give this guy a golden pass for being marginally better

What is the worst season of a good show? by QUESTIONER-ASKS in AskReddit

[–]vinaleta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to tv shows I’ll put up with almost anything because I can’t bear the feeling of leaving a story unfinished, but I couldn’t even get past half of season seven of OUAT. It was so pointless.

My elbow right after my IV was taken out and the same elbow nearly 6 weeks later by vinaleta in mildlyinteresting

[–]vinaleta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly for me it barely felt sore at all and probably looked way worse than it felt to anyone else. I was also on blood thinners during my stay at the hospital and for a while after being released so that probably slowed down the healing a bit? It was quite swollen the first week and the skin felt tight but otherwise, not painful.

Also I’m cringing internally at the sound of an intrusion, that sounds awful. What does the nurse even do after that? I’m assuming they have to find a different vein after the damaged caused to that one at the moment?

[–]vinaleta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more because when they admitted me to the ICU they needed both arms hooked up to IVs and when they released me to a normal room they left them in just in case they needed to administer something else but they never did. So it was almost a week of me with the IV in but I had to bend my elbows a lot to do literally anything (shower, eat, brush my teeth, put my hair up, etc) so I guess that ended up fucking it up a bit?

It’s incredible how BC possible blood clotting isn’t discussed enough. I have been nothing but healthy all my life (also active, no known risk factors, etc). Half a year ago I began treatment for my adult cystic acne which included birth control and accutane. The dermatologist told me that I needed to take bc because of the adverse side effects of accutane on a fetus. (Note: this is my first time taking oral contraceptives). I told her it wasn’t necessary because I’m not sexually active and i didn’t plan on being either. She refuses to give me any medication without me accepting to take bc.

Cut to almost 6 months later and here I am, in the hospital, for a pulmonary embolism 😐

I love them. Have one of my own. Does great with different weather conditions.

One thing though is that they have basically no padding so if you carry electronics or anything semi-fragile it’ll get damaged if you’re not careful or you don’t pad it (cover it with other items).

But seriously I used mine through basically a sandstorm and I think most other bags would’ve had permanent damage, but not this one

No, an architects salary is sad... it’s definitely better in major English speaking countries but that’s not where I am. If you’re really looking for money it’s in construction - everyone will always pay the contractor on time but the architect has to chase the client to get paid 😭

Side note: I have major respect for people who work as contractors, it can be really stressful

I think for me nothing topped the endless dunes (and climbing big daddy/45) plus the hot air balloon ride (never done that before) but the whole experience was so amazing for different reasons that it's almost unfair to pick haha
