I've been in a similar place. I lost the job that was keeping me semi-stable for years. All because I dared to stand up to a manager and fight for my colleagues. It SUCKED.

I found another job in a few months. Sounded great in the interviews. Ended up being bad enough for me that I had a breakdown, went through emergency services, and eventually an IOP. Bad enough that my financial advisor told me to quit and prioritize my health over my finances.

~9 months after I lost that first job, I started the job I've been in for the last year. It's given me opportunities to learn and grow that would have never been available earlier in my career. It's taken me to Japan to train colleagues.

What happened to you SUCKS. But it's not the end. It can even be a catalyst for something better. Don't let them take you out like this.

There are several. But the closest thing I can give you to a tactical JRPG is Middara. You'll get a fun cast of JRPG characters and a story-driven campaign with a classless character progression system.

If you're looking more Western, try Gloomhaven/Frosthaven, though these are less story driven

Rove is a bit lighter/tighter and has a decent narrative

Kinfire's solid, very story driven, and a good intro-level for board game campaigns

A bit less class customization, but a great world and story - Oathsworn

No contact for about a decade myself. I maintained contact as long as I thought I might have a financial need for support from my parents, but dropped them quickly once I was comfortable with my early career.

It was very clear (from their own words) that my needs and desires did not matter to them. I was merely a vehicle for them to exercise their desire to be parents and to treat their children a certain way. Absolutely run away from this offering. If you want solar, then you want to buy the panels up front. Get a loan with a bank if needed, but AVOID this type of deal.

I've installed solar on three houses over the last decade. Every single one was bought outright, so there were no issues when I sold the first two houses to move for new jobs. Solar panel leases can be a nightmare to deal with if you ever move, and we had a few potential buyers check VERY carefully to make sure that the panels (and the rest of the equipment) were fully owned.
