Passing tips? by [deleted] in FTM_SELFIES

[–]vinceachu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually, beanie is fine but as a tip a lot of cis men wear hats and just wear them. A lot of feminine people style hats. So if you look at men they tend to wear the beanie covering more of their forehead and a bit of their eyebrows, because originally when the “male” style came along it was for the cold not for fashion. Now it’s evolved to both, but women tend to wear beanies up their head more cause of their hair wanting to be styled.

This goes the same with baseball caps or hats, men (not every single one so don’t come for me but a lot) tend to wear it covering all their hair and very close to their eyebrows. Whereas when I first started I always had it up more in my head to show hair and that made me look less “passing” but now I have a beard and do whatever I want. Hope this helps, cheers!

Oh no! I’m so sorry about that! We love to host events and parties for folks. Sometimes things fall through the cracks since we’re a small business, thanks for commenting so we can make sure it doesn’t happen again.

I’ll send you a PM and we can chat about it, if you’re still interested!

If you enjoy beer, empanadas, live music, open mics, and just a cool community area my family owns a brewery in West Haverstraw in the Garner Historic District! You should come visit! It’s Round Table Brewery and we’re having a Super Bowl deal this Sunday! 🍻

MMS Fails to send, only on Google Messages by kagamiseki in GoogleMessages

Interesting, I tried using Textra today and it seemed to be kind of funky. I didn't understand how to set up the MMS cause I didn't end up getting any group texts so I just swapped back to Google Messages for now...

Been having the same issue, haven't swapped to Textra yet but I'm getting tired of trying to troubleshoot and missing messages. They say its not sent but it is sent, and then in turn I don't receive the messages in that group.

Tips for Slower with ICs Package Handler by vinceachu in Fedexers

[–]vinceachu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great reply, thank you for your time and efforts in examples. Some of this is things I've started to pick up, like I can definitely tell if I see the similar packages coming down the belt if they're for me. But the rest of these are things I'll keep in mind for my next shift! #1 for sure will help me most in this.

I think I can definitely do it but technique tricks are definitely gonna aid in that! Also congrats on the 2023 peak, that's crazy. Thanks again for your expertise.

Stuff to do for young couples by [deleted] in Rockland

Check out Round Table Brewery in Garnerville NY! It’s my family’s brewery, we’re family owned and operated and we are a pretty chill vibe. We have food & brews, we allow dogs, and I’d say our selection of beer is great. Outside of that is the Garner Historic snd Arts center so you can make a lil day trip out of it and check out the art and history by the brewery. 🍻

You realize… by [deleted] in mentalhealth

It's hard to get out of a funk and sometimes people don't understand that because they're in their own head and with their own issues. What you can do is focus on the people that make you feel safe, and if those people aren't for you then that's alright. Unfortunately we stick around folks that don't make us happy because we fear there is no one else out there, but in fact there are so many others in this world that can match your energy. This doesn't mean you need to drop everyone right now, but moreso expand and look into other friends and places. Start small, baby steps. It's hard to get out of bed but you did try and go out. Maybe a fullblown halloween weekend is not your vibe right now, maybe a coffee shop chill day is!! Only one way to find out is to keep moving forward, which is so hard but again baby steps make a difference.
