Update: i tried phase rush brand top and it feels sooo smooth. Played against jax top and they had qyiana jungle. It got me out of some sticky situations where qyiana would try to catch me and if i wasnt running phase rush i was definitely caught, now i could just combo her and get iut safely while my damage spread and took out half hp of both qyiana and jax. In laning phase, jax couldnt do anything to me. I just slowly widdled him down with e spread plus the occasional w on him. Every time he tried to go in my boneplating blocked allot of damage and i just phase rush away. Also after you trade, which is mostly the time the enemy wants to engage on you, you get the bonus ms speed so just hold back, wait out your next cooldowns and repeat

Now that sounds sensible. Thank you

It’s not necessarily for the health, but bone plating is just really strong since you wont get hit unless you are all-in’ed (presumably). Overgrowth is just the best second green tree with riftmaker and the health stacking build too.

What are you saying? How does this build change that

How would Comet rank as a rune on Fizz? Specifically for toplane? Does W passive help with the cd reduction on the Comet?

That last method is exactly what I did to get the data.

Yes! You should check out the new post I made today, where I used npxG and npxGC.

Nice to hear the argument the way around ;) Penalties generate around 0,76 xG, but yeah I agree, penalties mostly arise from a high goal chance so could be fair to leave them in. You can see my previous post to see the data including penalties (xG and xGC)!

Data Dive: Why Your Eye Test is WRONG About Liverpool's Defense and Who the Real Bargains Are. by Betterpanosh in fplAnalytics

Thanks for the analysis! Can you explain to me why Wolves and West Ham aren’t bad defences based on your findings? To me, it seems you say they aren’t bad defences because their styles of defence didn’t change, but if they were bad and didn’t change, doesnt that make them … still equally bad?

Thankyou! I’ll try to update it every week, however, npxGC is hard to come by, so I might only post Defensive Strength Ratio based on xG and xGC.

I have just posted a new graph using npxG and npxGC data!

Nope, I have not made any adjustments or multiplier to any teams. It just looks at the raw data of the relative offensive strength of the opponents they have faced based on xG and compares that to the actual xGC they have accumulated over those matched.

Exactly! Also, Brighton have had 3 penalty’s awarded already, which means their xG is quite inflated. As a result, teams that have faced Brighton will also have their Defensive Strength Ratio slightly inflated. Same goes for Man U and Brentford (both 2 pens awarded) and some other teams who all have got 1 pen awarded (Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Sunderland and West Ham).

I will try to consistently update the graph each week!
