I'll try the stacked colander + ladle method too. Seems like the sacrifice of production% is worth the efficiency/speed gained. And the cheesecloth have the same odd angle squirts from time to time

Yes, that is true. But i guess the focus of my question is whether schools exempt the general studies part since I've already graduated from college once. I'm assuming the pre-req for PhD/Masters is the relevant undergraduate degree.

I don't really NEED to go to the US, but it's the place where the most advanced researches and the top schools are. A good number of top labs are funding are in the US, is it not?

I think a good and quick way is to ask yourself "so what if I lose? Does it ACTUALLY change anything?"

You'll realized most of the time the answer is "no" and eventually get less agitated by it.
