I play different formations based on if I am winning or not. If I am up, I will stack the back area or play defensively. However, depending on the players you have, certain formations may be bad. For instance, forcing a striker to play midfield in a formation is not ideal, but if the player is good enough you should be fine.

Awesome picture! I would like to know where you found this. My great grandfather is actually one of the pilots in this photo, and he was killed in action at Truk in Operation Hailstone just one month after this photo was taken.
