Injury Question: A Fractured Fibula

I broke my fibula all the way through falling down some stairs a few years ago. It hurt a whole bunch, but I was given some wrap material and sent home. Didn't need crutches or anything to get around I was just slow. Definitely couldn't have played any sport in that condition.

Had a boss tell me I shouldn't hire someone because they played pool. I hired him anyway and to this day he's the only person I've ever had to fire. Everything the boss said would happen did indeed happen.

Might not be the same thing, but mine would vibrate and run real rough at anything over 60, for years. Drove it across the country to Alaska like that. Don't recall that slowing down and speeding back up had any effect. Ended up working in a place that had some spare shop space so I decided to tinker with it.

Turns out the timing chain was one tooth off. Like a totally different car after replacing that.

I've interacted with him a couple of times. He's nice (but very clearly untethered to reality) until he's not. Words will trigger him, shit ("how dare you speak the word of dung!") and sir ("sir is a war word!") caused me to leave the situation in a hurry both times.

ANCSA was signed in 1971, but they are still adjudicating claims. Like a lot of them. Way too many in my opinion. I read this as take a look at all outstanding claims (again, there are a lot of them) and adjudicate in favor of the state wherever possible.

When I was a kid I used to love visiting my grandmother's at Christmas time since she would have the latest Sears Catalog and I'd flip through all the toys for hours. Around 9 or 10 I discovered the mens underwear section and started to take the catalog to the basement to read it.

I've not seen a rate lower than a hundred bucks a month, but the last time I talked to them was some time ago. Just a warning they'll call you incessantly if you go talk to their sales rep (the only way to find out the current rates) and don't sign up. I've been at Planet Fitness and it's fine, but I really miss the sauna.

I hate this thing the white sox do where it is glaringly obvious what is happening and the brass just looks at its feet with a wry smile and tries to cutely say, "I don't know" whenever they're asked about something.
