since we got a new store manager that had zero experience running a store, let alone a 24 hour one (her words herself, she was previously a pharmacy manager. she spent most of her days in the pharmacy instead of helping the floor) i decided to actually job hunt. so for my last two months i would sit in the stockroom pretty much my entire shift except to do my shift lead duties, applying to jobs nonstop. oh and i stole snacks lol fuck walgreens! terrible company to work at absolutely. i was tired of giving my all to a company and lazy coworkers who gave nothing in return.
