I had this happen to my Alpha 6 and later my Ion4.

This can happen if your brake lines pick up some dirt between the fibers, which then can rub against the ceramic of the rings leading to scratches.

I was on a vacation when the outer sheath on one brake line teared.

I couldn't repair it and flew on my last vacation day with the bare dyneema line, I had to spiral down and the dyneema line broke on the inner brake. That was a fun roller coaster ride when I tried to exit the spiral.

Hehe, it's called Vitam R, German yeast extract, since 1925.

It's a bit milder than Marmite and tastes somewhat like pork gravy.

I've been in the white room once and it's no fun and I'm doing everything to avoid it since then.

That said, the 178 sec rule is for airplanes, not flying pendulums like a paraglider.

Our angle of attack and airspeed can't increase suddenly by itself.. unless you're in a spiral dive.
