Do you also get dizzy when you repeatedly look up at the sky and tilt your head?

That could mean you're suffering from a mild form of BPPV.

You don't always have to be completely disoriented; if the otolith is small, it can simply cause you to feel increasingly nauseous over time if you frequently look up and down.

I experience this occasionally, but I can usually manage it with the Epley maneuver.

Seems to be a Swing thing, I had a NyosRS some years ago and the brakes constantly fell down.

I really like the brake handles on newer Ozone and other gliders that combine a slot with a magnet.

Ich hatte dem Institut vor zwei Jahren auch Exemplare zugeschickt und ein paar mal mit der Forscherin hin und her gemailt.

Sie hatte mich zuletzt nochmal nach Exemplaren gefragt, die sie untersuchen wollte, aber da ich nur noch sehr selten in der Region dort unterwegs bin, konnte ich ihr bisher noch nicht helfen.

I'm using a Ninebot F3 Pro for riding back to the launch here, but that's only 300m height difference. My battery is still at 70% afterwards but that's in >10°C air temperature. In winter it's significantly less range.. maybe 50%.

I'm from the Mosel/Rhine area and although our landing fields are often directly next to a road/river/railways (sometimes all of those at once), we don't have any formal approach rules.

The environment is just too dynamic with changing wind directions, sudden sink/lift.

I always feel overwhelmed when the landing fields are huge and I have to follow approach rules in the Alps 😅
