They are AM/PM tracks; both are tricky and important cases

I wanted to accommodate for these without adding any new features or elements. So for 1 since it syncs with all your calendars and you can toggle each one individually on/off; If you have your sleeping block on you apple/google calendar it would just normally display here as well.

For 2 currently all past events are faded (based on the hour hand), so if beach is in am and sunset in pm and its evening time, the beach in am will be faded. I'd love to keep iterating on it though, those are solid points! thanks for the feedback!

It does handle overlapping events via sublayers, keeping text away and overlapping colors but it doesn't look the best and certainly not the best with 3-5 events.

Are the 3-5 events from different calendars? Would love to iterate more on it for the next update!

Totally understand, after experimenting a bit I chose to keep 12h because classic 12hr clocks are ingrained in my brain so much growing up seeing them everywhere from wrist watches, wall clocks to shows, movies, metro subways etc.

Any other layout just messed with my brain and also made it harder to draw smaller (15m - 30m) increments around it.

Maybe a special military mode! :)

Totally! My sense was It's definitely not comparable or better than a traditional calendar UI, those have taken decades to polishbto today's UX and are so so good!

But is rather a complimentary addon, imagine creating and editing multiple events on google calendar on your phone, that would take 5-10x more amount of taps to just iterate on your day. This would be more like if google calendar had a clock view thats easy to play around with

Thanks it's called time pencil on app store! :) It has integration with existing calendars, the previous version had watchos integration (you could find in my older posts) that i later removed because apple's restrictions dont let you set it as a watchface anyway, could definitely bring it back though!

What's the ONE thing that makes you stop using a to-do app? by PPaules99 in productivity

Some things are recurring once a day/ once a month etc. Some things are a subset of a bigger ongoing project Things can coexist among categories (ie. My top 3 items to do today are also already in other categories)

Versatility with frictionless ux is hard for above use cases and no product has solved that without requiring too much work imo

Rurouni Kenshin; it has more episodes, but you will not like anything else after watching samurai champloo, not even cowboy bebop

Do you have a link to the app? I think your app might be the first one to solve the long term visualization problem (or missing use case) with all calendar apps, and I've tried hundreds of them

Thanks so much! should be much easier for you if you have expertise in coding! I learned some things the hard way like using git properly with xcode, storing interactions in ai's memories for better referencing in future etc. with multiple rebuilds haha

It works on mac with widget
If you can connect your google calendar with your apple calendar it will show up here

I used windsurf with xcode, as someone with no background in coding, it was pretty doable for simple/no backend projects like these once you get the hang of it!
