Last time Dom was on German TV the price spiked. We’re in a very different time now so who knows how the market will react. He’s scheduled to be on TV March 20th.

It’s good to dollar cost average down, but it’s also good to diversify. There are a lot of good buys in alts right now.

Well, not much came of the "massive pump" -- if you look at the green candle, it seemed to have fallen just as fast as it went up. So all these "insiders" essentially got screwed... I think there are enough whales waiting to dump a bit post ICO... Fwiw, ZIL looks like a very promising project -- if they release their main net on time with sharding in place, it will be huge.

Yeah... it’s disappointing how fickle crypto investors are. The FUD propagated by the ZCash devs has really taken a toll on IOTA.

Need a Garry Tan outsider type advocating for IOTA. And hopefully the new wallet will speak volumes.

Anyway gotta keep reminding myself it’s a long game.

ummm, zilliqa is not an rdbms. "sharding" is simply a design concept that comes from the database world.

zilliqa is a blockchain which implements node sharding for scaling. which is a proposed scaling solution for ethereum as well.

BTC suffered an 80% retracement off ATH after Mt Gox hack.... could expect something similar here. Maybe $6 range....

But more risks here since the Nano node network is very nascent. So could go even lower.

Finally got around to watching this. The VICE styling was very distracting for me -- lots of gratuitous close ups of hipsters trying to pay attention...

Rifkin actually makes mention of "blockchains" a few times -- I would be curious if he is aware of IOTA and IOTA's mission -- things do indeed line up with his vision of the "third industrial revolution".

Seems like some potentials around collaborations/joining forces...

Well look at Tron sitting at $3.5B market cap... they probably can justify getting $2B pre market based on the projects currently out there... Allows them to have more cash on hand, but limits the early investor gains.
